Lynne Parsons, Intake Division
 The Intake Division operates around the clock every day of the year and reviews requests for charges from the police officers in this county. At least three lawyers are on duty at any time of the day or night to assist the police in answering legal questions, filing charges or drawing warrants. Intake also staffs Harris County's Hearing Court. This court operates twenty four hours a day to review the charges against defendants who have not been admitted to bail. |
Roberto Gutierrez, Grand Jury Division
 The Grand Jury Division’s lawyers present felony cases to the grand juries that have been empanelled by district court judges. Grand jury terms last three months and five grand juries sit in each term.

Denise Onken , Child Abuse Division Chief
 The Child Abuse Division handles a large number of the physical and sexual abuse cases that occur in Harris County. |

Jane Waters, Family Criminal Law Division
 The Family Criminal Law Division is staffed with attorneys caseworkers and investigators that review allegations of criminal spousal abuse. Lawyers also file protective orders for victims against their perpetrators. Last year they reviewed over 6,000 allegations of abuse and filed 2,100 protective orders. |
John Boone, Check Fraud Division
 Our Check Fraud Division prosecutes theft by check and issuance of bad check cases. Last year they collected over $1.6 million in restitution for victims of check fraud. |
